Press and citation guide

Our published figures are free to cite. This page says how.

How to cite

StratoData, The business turbine record, edition of [date]. stratodata.io/record

Cite the edition date. Figures are restated when the record changes, and the date tells a reader which version you used. Every page gives its own citation line.

What you can say

The headline rate“2.29 accidents per 1,000 aircraft-years” for US business turbine aircraft, fixed wing, with the count of accidents and aircraft-years beside it where space allows.
Other firms’ findingsWhere our pages quote Milliman, a regulator or another source, the finding is theirs; please cite them.
What we do not doWe do not rank or characterize operators, manufacturers or individuals, and we do not comment on open accident investigations.
